General Manager - Conditions of Service and Industrial Relations

The department is headed by a General Manager and is responsible for:

  • Industrial relations
  • Creating conditions of service for the Health Service
  • Determining salary policy and salary scales
  • Conducting salary reviews and salary surveys.

General Manager - Finance & Administration

The department is headed by a General Manager and is responsible for:

  • Implementing financial policies in terms of the Audit and Exchequer Act (Chapter 22:03)
  • Formulation and implementation of resource mobilisation strategies for the Health sector
  • Establishing an affective internal control system that promptly responds to both Internal and External Audit queries and observations
  • Preparing annual financial statements and monthly management accounts
  • Preparing budget estimates and monitor all accounting functions to ensure that correct procedures are adhered to and deadlines are met
